Quick Start: 4 Steps to Live View

Download the App
Search for the camera app on the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android), or scan the QR code on the back of your camera. Create a free account to get started.

Power On the Camera
Connect the included USB-C cable to the camera and a power adapter. Wait for the LED indicator to flash โ this means the camera is ready to pair.

Connect to Wi-Fi
In the app, tap "Add Device" and follow the on-screen instructions. Make sure your phone is connected to your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network (the X21 does not support 5GHz).

Go Live
Once paired, tap your camera in the app to start viewing. Rotate the camera head to your desired angle and enable motion alerts in settings.
๐ก Tip: Place your phone within 1โ2 metres of the camera during initial setup to ensure a stable pairing connection.
Choose the mounting method that works best for your space:
Method 1 โ 3M Tape
- Peel one side of the 3M tape and stick it firmly to the back of the camera base.
- Peel the other side and press the camera against the wall for 30 seconds.
- Rotate the camera head to your preferred viewing angle.
Method 2 โ Screw Mount
- Hold the mounting bracket against the wall and mark the screw holes (note the UP arrow).
- Drill pilot holes and insert the wall anchors from the package.
- Secure the bracket with screws, then snap the camera onto the bracket.
- Rotate the camera to your desired position.
๐ Best placement: Mount 2โ3 metres high, angled slightly downward. Avoid pointing directly at a light source to prevent lens flare at night.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why won't my camera connect to Wi-Fi?
The GS-X21 only supports 2.4GHz Wi-Fi. If your router broadcasts both 2.4GHz and 5GHz under the same network name, try splitting them into separate SSIDs and connect your phone to the 2.4GHz band before pairing.
How do I reset the camera?
Press and hold the function button on the back of the camera for about 10 seconds until you hear a prompt tone. The camera will restart and enter pairing mode. You'll need to re-add it in the app.
Can I share the camera feed with family members?
Yes! The GS-X21 supports device sharing with multiple accounts. Go to the camera settings in the app and select "Share Device" to invite others via their app account.
How do I get alerts only for my pet and not every movement?
In the app, go to your camera's Alert Settings and enable "Pet Detection" while disabling general motion alerts. The on-device AI will filter notifications to only trigger when a pet is detected.
Is the camera suitable for outdoor use in rain?
Yes. The IP65 rating means the camera is fully dust-tight and protected against water jets from any direction โ suitable for most outdoor conditions. Avoid submerging it or placing it under constant heavy water flow.
What's the maximum MicroSD card size supported?
The camera supports MicroSD cards up to 128GB. We recommend using a Class 10 or UHS-I card for best recording performance.
