We offer heating pads in many sizes, from small to extra large. Please choose the most suitable size according to your pet's body shape. Specific size specifications can refer to each product page.

How to clean and maintain the heating pad?

The surfaces of our heating pads are all waterproof materials, you can wipe them regularly with a damp cloth to clean them. Do not fully soak or machine wash, this will shorten the life of the product.

How to test heating pads for pets?

Please put a big pillow on the mat to test the mat. After about 15 minutes, feel under the pillow. It will feel warm, not hot. Do not place anything on the mat at other times (except the fleece cover provided). This can only be done during testing.

How does the heating pad work outdoors?

Clawsable's Outdoor Mattress is designed to keep your pet warm. When the pet is lying on the mat, it will warm the pet's body to normal temperature. When the pet is not on the mat, the mat will continue to emit heat to attract the pet back.
This continuous cooling is to allow pets to feel the heat and actively move to the mat for warmth and comfort. The Clawsable mat uses a built-in thermostat for temperature control. Just follow the instructions to connect and you can stay powered up 24/7.
Do not cover the surface of the mat with anything other than the pet mat cover we provide, or it will affect heat dissipation. Our jackets are specifically designed to allow heat to pass through.

Can the heat be turned on only when the pet needs it?

Our adjustable heating pad offers various timer settings, allowing you to customize heating times. There's no need to keep it on all day. The thermostat-controlled heating pad starts working as soon as it's plugged in.

Will the bed be warmer with a higher power rating?

All of our outdoor heated pet beds heat to the set temperature regardless of wattage. The larger the bed, the greater the wattage required to maintain that temperature.

Can straw or wood chips be placed on pet heating pads?

Straw, hay and wood chips are all very flammable materials and we never recommend using any of these materials in conjunction with any type of electrical or heating product. Remember not to place anything on the Clawsable Outdoor Bed or Cushion other than the provided Cover.

IMPORTANT SAFETY NOTE: Before using an extension cord, be sure to read and follow these Instructions for Use. Improper use of extension cords may result in electric shock, fire, or other serious hazards.
  1. Select the appropriate extension cord: When choosing an extension cord, make sure the following requirements are met: Extension cords should comply with American National Standards (eg UL Mark). The rated current capacity (amperage) of the extension cord should meet the needs of the connected equipment, but should not exceed the rated capacity of the extension cord.
  2. Check the extension cord: Before using, carefully inspect the extension cord for the following problems: Cosmetic damage, cracks, or wear. The plug or socket is corroded or deformed. Wires are exposed or damaged.
  3. Correctly insert and unplug the extension cord: When plugging or unplugging an extension cord, be sure to hold the plug, not the cord. When inserting the plug, make sure it is tightly connected to the socket, and do not use excessive force. When unplugging, grasp the plug firmly, not the cord.
  4. Suggested use: The extension cord is suitable for indoor use. For outdoor use, use a waterproof extension cord. When extension cords are used to connect electrical equipment, make sure that the equipment itself also complies with American National Standards.
  5. Uses not recommended: Do not connect multiple extension cords together, this may cause overloading, overheating, or damage to the cord. Do not place extension cords in places subject to high temperatures, humidity, or exposure to wear and tear.
