The first day I set it up, one of my feral visitors immediately started using it. I also mounted a camera inside of it so that I could see if it was being used. Now, a few of them use it daily at different intervals. It's exactly what I wanted and they seem to love the heated pad. It's great because we've gotten temps all the way down to 20 below zero with wind and I'm not sure how these cats survive without a shelter. As soon as more go into stock and there's a sale, I'll most likely be purchasing another one. I didn't have any issues with assembly as some others had alluded to. Just closely look at the images provided in the documentation and it starts to make sense.
I purchased this shelter recently, as a pair of apparently abandoned cats unexpectedly appeared in my yard during a cold part of the ongoing winter. This product appeared to be the best designed among the many visible through online searches. I made the right choice for sure -- solid, well constructed product, which fits well into my backyard area. Although, the heating pad shipped with the product did not appear to be putting out enough heat for my cold conditions in my area. I quickly opted for a somewhat larger heating pad from Clawsable, which has been working just fine.
I have three feral cats that are like a family. The three go inside at the same time with no problem, even the chunky one ;)( I removed the divider for more comfort) I have other shelters but this one is by far their favorite
Awesome product for the price. I paid $10 from an Amazon return store, which I would have paid full price from the company website. Great quality, east to build, and sturdy material.
The house was very easy to put together. The how-to video was great. The house is quite sturdy. I'm hoping the stray kits that come around will make their way in. The heating pad is quite cozy. I did capture two kittens checking it out.
