I have a couple of stray kittens living in my backyard, so I purchased this heated cat house to help them during wintertime. Those kitties quickly realized the house was for them and started sleeping there whenever they needed to nap.
The house is sturdy and waterproof, and the heating pad functions without issues.
I have this inside my house to get the cats used to it before putting it outside. I have 7 cats and they love it. There is always a cat inside it. One cat gets in and lays on the side without the heating pad. I feel like I need to get some boxes for inside the house. Someone mentioned the legs not sticking well, they are loose if you just stick them in but if you twist they stick in place.
I got the medium square gray camo 2-door cat house with heater for my 11 pound cat. It's really nice and simple to put together. . I like the easy open top for setting my cat's food bowl inside. At first I didn't know if he'd use it but by putting the food inside, he soon got used to going inside. After about a week, I've been seeing him come off the back porch, where I keep it, when I come home after work so I'm pretty sure he's using it now. I'm not sure if the heating pad is warm enough with a blanket on top of it but the pad does have its own pillow case, so it's fine. The escape door is a nice feature in case he has to make a quick getaway from another critter. I would definitely buy another Clawsable cat house!
This little cat condo as we call it is perfect! We have a cat, Phantom, who for years was a stray and won’t come in our house she stays in the backyard and ever winter for the last three years I’ve tried to get her to come inside but now with The small outdoor portable cat house she sleeps warm and comfortable ever night. It’s a perfect size for cats and stays warm and really good quality. I wish I could buy one for every cat I come across!
I purchased this for a stray that appeared on my doorstep. It is easy to assemble and the cat started using it immediately.
