We stated taking care of a small tabby last fall. March of this year, She had a litter of kittens, than had another litter 4 months later. There's 6 total, 2 @ 6 months, 4 @ 2 months plus momma. Only mom has seen a winter so I was looking for a way to make them all a safe home. After chatting with the staff, I went with 2 of the largest and stacked them. I built a small structure around shelter to give them all, ample space to climb and play. They love it and were playing before I even finished. Thank you for building such a quality and usable shelter!
This product exceeded my expectations. I purchased the Ultra Therm model, and I am very happy! Every time I check, it is dry and warm inside. It assembled in about 15 minutes, and it was snug, secure and ready to go! I needed this shelter for 3 kittens that landed on my uncovered porch, and now I get to keep them safe while I find homes.
They took to it very quickly; it was absolutely joyous to see them peeking in, then deciding to jump in, and then staying in! Fabulous!
I will be purchasing another heating pad & cover, just to have on hand & keep things fresh. Here's a pic of one kitty peeking out. The cardboard boxes are now gone!! Yay!

Got three of these now. Replacing homemade guys. We live very rural. For some reason, folks think this is a good place to dump their cats. Have ten ferals now. Drops to six during each winter - local food chain, mostly.Very easy construction - stiff plastic rods with connectors. Construct a cube then insert into the soft-sided insulated body. Literally, 15 minutes to set-up.Has two entries, with one having a hood and the other closes with magnets.The insulation is on all six interior sides. The top closes with Velcro. Two of my houses have legs, the third five large bumps to raise it above the floor - I put this last one on the bucket bench.There's even a nice inlet (rubber hole) to insert a cord. You have a pocket to hold a camera. I use the hole for the heating pad cord.I am thoroughly impressed with this product, and the price is very competitive.Great deal.
This is great. It's easy to put together and it's warm and cozy. There is an escape hatch. There are legs to keep it off the ground, which also helps keep it warm. It's insulated with a silvered inside to reflect and retain heat. It has a velvety soft cloth inside for the kitties to snuggle in. It will easily hold two cats. I love this and, hopefully, those outside semi-ferals will, too. Good price, too.
