As you promised Cathouse arrived, though my top was missing in my shipment. We corresponded and the top arrived 9 days later. 2 day email reply was understandable since it was during a weekend. I assembled the house, and my plan was it would be more of a privacy house (indoors) for my older cat. I have a large male, and an older male cat. its a nice option for them to hide. Thought they still like the couch. My wife puts catnip in the house and they both go in. Like you said, they love the heater, and they like the 2nd exit so they don't feel trapped. What mostly happens is the older cat hides inside and protects both entrances from MILO, and the large cat Milo looks over every nook and cranny where he can get in but has not be able to enter anywhere but the doorways. Its very sturdy, and about 5 minutes to assemble the first time. The directions sheet is NOT as helpful as the youtube video which will show you a contents diagram and step by step assembly. TY

very well built, easy to assemble... looks like it would be super easy to maintain... if it was a little larger id move into it myself as my cat wants NOTHING to do with it

My indoor cat and I have become acquainted with an outside cat who we hv love and named Nephew. Under our deck covering, I placed a partially covered cardboard box w heating pad. He loved it but it was not waterproof. I was so happy to find the clawsable houses bc of all of the features to keep kitties safe and warm without bringing the cat inside. The detachable roof feature w velcro is especially helpful to refill his good bowl everyday.

The instructions for putting this together are vague; however, no tools necessary. I did figure it out within 10-15 minutes. I like the camo and how it blends into our MN winters. The feral cats have figured out how to enter quite easily... the food stored in their dish in there helps. :-)
