I rebuilt my grandparents house and shortly after we noticed a small cat hanging around. Long story short, he needed a warm place for winter and we couldn't be any happier than with this bad boy! My only complaint is that the doors a plastic and are kinda warped due to packaging and the cold weather in VT, so I dont feel like they "seal" but he's happy so am I! Oh, he actually will lounge out on the porch section when its warmer outside (this kinda surprised me) I bought it for the size and roof pitch, I like that vs the flat roof but that's just me.
These heated cat houses are perfect for outdoor cats. With the heat pad, it provides enough warmth for a cat even in temperatures around 0°F.
At the very least, it's a comfy, dry shelter for a cat to sleep. The updates they've made to the houses throughout the years are genius (roof over door, multiple entries)!
I have two houses for a trio of stray cats. They love using it! It's so funny to see them looking through the side door flap when I'm about to feed them.
I’m allergic to my cat so he can’t come inside, but I was worried about him getting cold. I bought this and he LOVES it! It was a little expensive for me but I bought it when they had a sale and I’m glad I did! It’s everything they say it is! Can’t reccomend it enough!!
Both of my outdoor rescue cats like this cat house they are warm and snug inside when it’s cold out, for cats who prefer the outdoors this is the perfect gift or purchase! It looked like a lot of pieces, but my boyfriend was able to put it together in a few minutes.
The house seems to be perfect, it was simple to put together once I jumped on YouTube.
I'm unable to get our outside ferrel cat to enter and try it. We have a smaller house, unheated, he uses. I put this one next to it, pulled a towel he slept on in the old house in the entryway and on the deck, trying to get him to take over the heated house. I then added some catnip to the effort, to no avail. I've put food at the entryway, he just won't approach the new home! It's cold now and snowing so I don't want to pull the old one away. I love the product, it's just figuring out how to get this cat to go in it. We've been taking care of him for almost a year now but we still can't get close to him. He's still very cautious.
