I've had a stray cat coming around my house for the last few months. She's skittish and won't let me pet her, but she eats the food I put out. As winter sets in, I've been worried about how she will stay warm and out of the rain, wind, and (rarely, in our area) snow. I bought this, not knowing if she'd use it or not, but willing to give it a try. Lo and behold, after a day or two, she'd found and slept in the house! It's easy to assemble, and the small is the perfect size for one cat. The entrance is also small enough to keep out other animals (i.e. raccoons). We've gone through some heavy rains, and the house has stayed dry. We're dealing with below freezing temperatures and blowing winds currently, and she's tucked away inside, safe and sound. I weighed it down with a cinderblock to keep it from moving, which worked like a charm. I'm so thankful this exists and that I found it, and I'm sure she is too.
